Tulsa SC President, Barry Williams, announced Luis Perdomo will be joining the Tulsa SC coaching staff. “The addition of Perdomo to our girls ECNL and ECNL-RL staff will simply make our club better overall. He brings 10+ years of coaching experience and will enhance our club’s ability to attract and develop players,” said Williams.
Tulsa SC’s Executive Director of Soccer Operations, Adam Burke said “I am always looking for exceptional coaches to bring on board and continue our goal of building one of the best Youth Soccer Coaching Staff’s in the country. I am very excited about Perdomo and the impact he will have on both our players and coaching staff. He takes great pride in his craft of coaching youth soccer and is very passionate about helping kids become the best version of themselves both on and off the field.”
A native to the of city of Tegucigalpa in Honduras, Perdomo signed his first professional contract in a professional soccer club in the professional league in Honduras. From there on he continued playing the sport for fifteen years. He was called several times to be part of the Honduran under 23 National Team and the Senior National Team. He also played in Guatemala for one year and tried out for a team in Netherlands and Belgium.
Perdomos’ passion and talent for coaching was quickly recognized as he currently holds his A coaching license from the US Soccer Federation and UEFA C license from the Irish Football Association has opened many doors for me to meet and establish connections with coaches and players from different parts of the world.
When asked about coming to Tulsa SC he said, “Obtaining a coaching position in a professional league is every coach’s dream, even more so for someone like me; native of a country where dreams might seem to fade away”.
