THE PROGRAM

Tulsa SC's Scholarship Program has been established to provide financial assistance to a Tulsa SC player, male or female, who is participating as a player within our club for the 2024-2025 Soccer Season.  Approval of a scholarship mandates the player is committed to the club for the entire seasonal year, will make its best effort to participate in all games, practices, scrimmages, and team activities, unless school or religious events conflict. Player will owe the full amount of the scholarship if player quits, or seeks a release from the club before the seasonal year is complete.

DEFINITIONS

• Club Dues = Costs that are paid by the family to the CLUB for things such as training fields, coaches salary, etc.
• Team Dues = Costs that are paid by the family to the TEAM for things such as tournament fees, coach travel, etc.
• All In Fees = Combined Costs of Club Dues + Team Dues

EXAMPLE

Registration Fees	Ranges From $275 to $450 One Time Fee	Most Clubs Do Not Waive Registration Fees When Awarding A Scholarship
Club Dues	Ranges From $130  to $140/Month	Most Clubs Will Waive All or Some of This Amount If Awarded A Scholarship
Team Dues	Ranges From $75 to $150/Month	Most Clubs Do Not Waive Team Fees When Awarding A Scholarship.

 

 

 

 

 

ELIGIBILITY

Tulsa SC’s Scholarship Program is "need based".  A good example for families who qualify for a scholarship are families who qualify for Sooner Care, Food Stamps, or WIC.  If a family does not qualify for these government sponsored programs then most likely the family would not qualify for a scholarship.  

APPLICATION

Interested players must complete the application and submit it (2024-2025 Scholarship Application). Applicants are responsible for gathering and submitting all necessary information. Applications are evaluated on the information supplied; therefore, answer all questions as completely as possible. Incomplete applications will not be evaluated. All information received is considered confidential and is reviewed only by the Scholarship Committee.

PAYMENT OF SCHOLARSHIPS FOR GIRLS ECNL REGIONAL LEAGUE PLAYERS

The Tulsa SC Scholarship Program will pay scholarships directly to Tulsa SC on behalf of the player.  The maximum amount of scholarship awarded for Girls ECNL Regional League players is $2040 per player for the 2024-2025 season. This will require the player to pay a minimum of $115/month, but there will be no additional registration fees, no additional club dues, and no additional team dues. Tulsa SC does have a limit to how many scholarships we can offer, so once the scholarship fund has been depleted, it will be up to each team to organize a fundraiser to help out those that need financial assistance on that team.   

UNIFORMS & TRAINING KITS

The Tulsa SC Scholarship Program does not provide assistance for uniforms and training kits. It will be up to each team to organize a fundraiser to help out those that need financial assistance to purchase uniforms and training kits.
